Guidance Lesson Topics
This month in guidance, students are learning about healthy and safe choices to celebrate Red Ribbon Week. Younger students will be focused on healthy vs. unhealthy foods and medicine safety. Older students will be learning about peer pressure and how to avoid drugs and alcohol. Please look out for the Red Ribbon Week flyer on parent square and social media. We will be celebrating the last week of October with dress up days. Last month in guidance, students learned about choices and consequences.

Learning new things can be frustrating, and sometimes students want to shut down and quit trying. Remind your child the power of YET. Add the word YET to statements:
“I can’t do this math problem… YET.”
“I can’t read this word… YET.”
